The Political Compass

My friend Roshan Godaliyadda told me about the political compass, probably the most successful political mapping I've ever seen. Rather than having a traditional right-left linear differentiation, political compass map people into a two dimensional map; one axis being the social policy and the other being the economic policy.
Although I felt a scrutiny on Rightist policies is noticeably higher compared to Leftist policies.

My friend Nuwan Subasingha did a wonderful job in his blog post on the political compass. Most valuable piece work he has done is the mapping of a wide range of popular politicians to the map.

Randy Pausch Lecture: Time Management Hits #1 in google search for "Time Management"

Prof. Randy Pausch's lecture on "Time Management" which he did in University of Virginia hit #1 in Google search results for "Time Management". He claims to be most proud of this lecture out of the series of lectures he's been doing over the years.

Don't forget to check my first post which is also on Randy Pausch, if you haven't done so.
